FAFO: For Artists, Fostering Opportunities

Dallas Art Belongs to Dallas Artists.

The Movement

FAFO (For Artists, Fostering Opportunities)

A collaborative response spearheaded by the Dallas Army of Artists and Deep Ellum’s own Ellumwood Studios. We are transforming this blank space into an immediate opportunity for community creation. When you clear a canvas, the creative community comes back bigger, louder, and closer together.

The Projection Takeover

For the next few weeks, we are turning that blanked-out wall into a living canvas by projecting local digital art, video art, and graphics directly onto it. This is a community projector for every visual creator, animator, and videographer keeping the pulse of Dallas art beating.

The Main Ask: Support Dallas Creators

The whales may be gone from that wall, but the hands that build Dallas’ culture are still here. Our primary mission is to raise critical funds to provide art supplies to grassroots creators and secure spaces where artists can collaborate, experiment, and build together.

Every single dollar donated goes directly to the Dallas Army of Artists to fund local community arts initiatives and creator grants.

Fuel the Creative Community

Help us keep Dallas vibrant, resilient, and beautifully alive. Your donation directly funds supplies, equipment, and collaborative efforts for the next generation of North Texas artists.
